Game Flow
OSU fought until the end, but TCU shot 68 percent from the floor to knock off the Cowboys, 100-75.
The Cowboys continued to fight throughout the second half, deploying a full-court press for the majority of the period. Bryce Thompson's third three of the game cut the Horned Frogs' lead down to 17 with 3:38 remaining.
A 5-0 Cowboys' run brought the lead down to 20 with 12:30 left to play.
John-Michael Wright's third three of the game gave OSU its first points of the second half, but trailed TCU 54-30.
A 10-0 Horned Frogs' run extended their lead to 32-21 with four minutes to play in the first half.
Two three-pointers from John-Michael Wright and five points from Bryce Thompson led the Cowboys early, but OSU trailed 24-21 with under eight minutes remaining in the first half.
A 6-0 run from the Cowboys offense gave the Pokes their first lead of the night, 9-8.
Kalib Boone initiated the Cowboys offense early, scoring on a post-move to tie the game at 2-2.
Game Notes
As a team, the Cowboys have reached at least two blocks in every game this season. OSU leads the Big 12 with 5.4 blocked shots per game, which ranks 14th in the country.
Quion Williams came off the bench and made his presence felt in the second half, scoring eight points, three assists and one steal.
