and Prop Site Analysis

— After three weeks of subpar Thursday night games, we finally get a good one between the Ravens and Buccaneers. These have been two of the most underwhelming teams in the NFL this season, but both are still in the playoff hunt and we finally have some star power in one of these primetime games. The spread is essentially set as a pick ‘em and the game features a total of 45.5 points.

— It feels like the sky is falling for and the Buccaneers after losing to the Steelers and Panthers, but they are still tied for the division lead. The biggest competition in the NFC South is the Falcons, who seem more concerned with running the ball 30 times than with winning football games. The Buccaneers offensive line has dealt with a number of injuries, but surprisingly have the second lowest adjusted sack rate in the league. After two subpar outings on the road, this is a decent bounce-back spot for Brady at home. And as I always make sure to mention, quarterbacks are firmly in play for any and all showdown slates.

— The Buccaneers are going to be short-handed in their receiving corps. and have both been ruled out of this week’s game and is trending toward being a game-time decision. If Jones is out, and would both rotate into the mix on three and four receiver sets. Both are extremely cheap on DraftKings. If Jones is active, he becomes an intriguing large-field tournament option, albeit one that comes with plenty of risk. We can expect the bulk of the targets to flow to and . isn’t cheap for a backup tight end, but he’s played well in both of his starts and the hefty price point will help keep ownership down. The Brady double stacks are firmly in play against the Ravens.

— has played on at least 60% of the snaps in every game this season. He has averaged 15 carries and six targets per game, which gives him one of the safest workloads of any running back in the league. Now, the Buccaneers haven’t had any success running the ball this season, but the Ravens are a bottom-10 team in rush defense DVOA and defensive adjusted line yards. We’ve seen running backs crack the $10,000 mark on recent showdown slates on DraftKings, so Fournette feels a tad underpriced at $8,800. is an interesting tournament pivot, as he’s topped a 38% snap share in three of the last four games.

— is coming off of his worst fantasy outing of the season. While division games do tend to be lower scoring, the Browns defense hadn’t put up much of a fight until last week. Jackson has now failed to crack the 20 fantasy point mark in four straight games. He’s clearly an elite option for showdown given the lack of options and his floor/ceiling combination, but the lack of production is starting to be a concern. The matchup this week is far from ideal, as the Buccaneers are sixth in pass defense DVOA on the season.

— played through a knee injury last week and failed to catch a single pass from Jackson. While we could easily chalk this up to him not being 100%, he did play on 87% of the snaps. Even with the bagel, he’s still the second best tight end in fantasy football this season. Look for him to bounce back against a team that has allowed the 12th most fantasy points to the position. As far as the receivers are concerned, nobody should feel comfortable locking , , or into lineups. The Ravens have limited the snaps for Bateman all season, Duvernay’s fantasy production has been carried by three early-season touchdowns, and the Ravens don’t run enough three-receiver sets to feel good about Robinson. I’ll take my chances with Andrews and the pass catchers on the other side of the ball.

— The Ravens were extremely excited to have back in the lineup last week and he played well — he carried the ball 16 times for 66 yards and two touchdowns. However, he only played on 36% of the snaps and will only have three days to rest up for this game. At his price point, he’ll need to be extremely efficient and/or find the endzone to be a difference-maker on this showdown slate. It’s certainly possible, but it feels like we are chasing last week’s performance. (31%) actually out-snapped (27%) last week, so perhaps he’s the better value of the two for Thursday night.

— Both kickers are firmly in play and we’ve seen far too many defenses win showdown slates this season for them to not be included in our MME player pools.
