The Grammys took place this Sunday night (5), in Los Angeles, in the United States, bringing together some of the biggest names in the American music industry. Beyoncé, who announced a world tour in support of her “Renaissance” album, topped this year’s nominations with nine nominations, including album of the year.

Beyoncé has already won two statuettes on the night, for best dance/electronic recording, with “Break My Soul”, and best traditional R&B performance, with “Plastic Off the Sofa”.
The American, who became the artist with the most statuettes in history, competed in the main categories alongside artists like Harry Styles, Adele, Lizzo and Kendrick Lamar, who competed to see who takes the album, recording and song of the year.

Another of the main awards, the revelation of the year, has special significance for the Brazilian market. Anitta is in the running, even though she already has a ten-year career, alongside stars like Latto and the rock band Maneskin.
Styles, Bad Bunny and Lizzo are among the artists who will perform at the 65th edition of the awards. Also confirmed were Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Sam Smith and Kim Petras, Luke Combs and Steve Lacy – recognized names among the top nominees.

In Brazil, the award was broadcast on the pay television channel TNT and HBO Max, the streaming platform, starting at 9:30 pm, Brasília time. The presentation was made by Ana Furtado. The red carpet starts at 8 pm on E!.
