Best Black Friday deals 2022 - the best live deals from Amazon, Gymshark, Currys and Boots

11 days ago The Telegraph

Black Friday 2022 is here. The sale started at midnight and will continue through the weekend to 'Cyber Monday' November 28. Those who are looking to get their Christmas shopping done early will find significant discounts on tablets, gaming consoles, phones, beauty, fashion and big-ticket domestic purchases like vacuums, TVs and mattresses.

With the cost of living crisis, there's more interest than usual in Black Friday deals – and a certain degree of caution. Some retailers have in the past raised prices in October so that the Black Friday discounts seemed larger. Others have rebranded their permanent discounts as Black Friday deals. You my find even cheaper deals by waiting until December or January when prices sometimes drop further.

But these practices are hardly new and canny shoppers factor them into their decisions. As a rule, Black Friday prices are about as low as they'll get and there are genuine deals to be found. If you're in a rush, we've rounded up the best of them here:

Where can I find the best Black Friday deals?

It's no surprise that Amazon has the most offers, as it was responsible for bringing Black Friday to the UK. As well as tech and appliances, popular Christmas gifts such as spirits, clothes and beauty products are in the sale. But that doesn't mean that Amazon's discounts are the biggest.

Both John Lewis and Currys have released some big Black Friday bargains. Both stores aim to price-match many of their competitors' best deals, making John Lewis a worthwhile destination for high-end lifestyle products on Black Friday. Currys is a decent place to look for tech and appliances deals.

Individual brands like Dyson, Lego, Charlotte Tilbury and Ninja Kitchen hold their own Black Friday sales, as do Sky, and these can be a great place to look for savings. Cross-category retailers such as Argos, Very and AO are also worth investigating, as they work hard to beat Amazon's prices every year – particularly for home appliances. Clothing and beauty retailers including Net-a-Porter and Bootsalso offer site-wide discounts.
