The 2022 World Cup live from Qatar kicks off on Sunday, as the next three weeks offer non-stop action between the best soccer teams in the world. While Monday will get much of the headlines given that it’s the first chance to see Team USA in action, there is a host of good games on Tuesday that I’m dialed in on.
Let’s take a closer look at all four Tuesday matches and give a pick for each.
Other World Cup Game Picks & Predictions
Group C: Argentina vs. Saudi Arabia (Lusail Stadium, Lusail; 1 p.m.)
Currently ranked #51 in the world, Saudi Arabia comes into this World Cup amongst the worst teams in the tournament. While they may sneak a goal by at some point in this group, they just happen to draw a tournament favorite in their opening match, and I expect Argentina to show them just that.
You’ll hear early and often how this will be Lionel Messi’s final World Cup, and I think you see him find pay dirt in this one. While they could control the game, I expect goal differential to be top of mind as they bury the lesser team here.
Pick: Argentina -1.5 | -180 at DK Sportsbook
Group D: Denmark vs. Tunisia (Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan; 4 p.m.)
Christian Eriksen and Denmark are aware that they have a chance to win the 2022 World Cup, and that their path there starts on Tuesday in Al Rayyan when they take on Tunisia, one of the tournament’s most trendy underdogs. Eriksen is back and doing well following a scary EURO 2020 health scare; as he is now a Manchester United player and thriving.
After breezing through a relatively easy round of qualifying, they draw a tough foe here out of the gates in a Tunisia squad that plays stout defense. Outside of a 1-5 defeat to Brazil during qualifying, Tunisia did not give up a single goal in the seven matches prior.
Denmark doesn’t exactly light up the scoreboard, and all signs for me here point toward an under.
Pick: Under 2.5 | -145 at DK Sportsbook
Group C: Mexico vs. Poland (Stadium 974, Doha; 7 p.m.)
Mexico will look to keep their run of seven straight World Cup appearances of getting out of the group stage, and that could very well be decided in this game; the most critical of their early matches. For Poland, Robert Lewandowski’s prime days are certainly numbered for Poland, and this may be their last real chance to make some noise on the international stage.
With the injuries to Mexico and the resurgence of Polish stars Sebastian Szymanski and Nicola Zalewski, I like for Poland to have enough to get this one done.
Pick: Poland | +185 at DK Sportsbook
Group D: France vs. Australia (Al Janoub Stadium; 10 p.m.)
The returning champions will get play started on Tuesday, as they return one of the favorites to win the entire thing once again. If qualifying was any indication, they should be just fine in this group at a minimum, not losing a single game in the build-up to these games.
The Socceroos put up 11 straight wins during the qualification process, but grinding out wins against UAE and Peru doesn’t exactly inspire confidence at this level.
Behind two of the best players in this tournament Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe, look for France to relatively easily handle business in this one.
Pick: France -1.5 | -130 at DK Sportsbook

Each week, I’ll provide my favorite Sunday parlay and my favorite same-game parlay options for each game. Week 12 NFL parlayJaguars +4Bengals -120 moneylineOdds: +249Full disclosure: This might be my least favorite Sunday slate of the season from a betting perspective. The Titans are first in run defense DVOA, which is fine, considering Joe Mixon might not be healthy for Cincinnati. The only way the Falcons can score is by running the ball, and Washington ranks 2nd in the NFL in rush defense DVOA. Meanwhile, Las Vegas ranks dead last in both overall defensive DVOA and pass defense DVOA.9 days ago BettingPros
Groups C and D are back in action Saturday, following a Tuesday slate that featured one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history as Saudi Arabia knocked off tournament-favorite Argentina. In Group D, reigning World Cup champion France handled business against Australia, already looking dominant as group play continues to unfold. The Socceroos will need to get back on track quickly, as they now face a Tunisia team with their World Cup chances on the line. Led by elite-level striker Salem Al Dawsari, I don’t think this Saudi Arabia team is a mirage, and I like another competitive showing from them in this one. As for Denmark, their 0-0 draw vs. Tunisia was not the result they were hoping for, but being alive is all they can ask for.10 days ago BettingPros

We have one team with a game total well above the field – the Bills at 32.5 points – and a late game that is predicted to be a slow-paced slugfest. If betting on a QB to go off Thursday, Allen is the best choice even as the favorite in the field. They allow 262.2 yards per game through the air and are allowing over 192 yards per game (25th in NFL) to receivers. With the Bills having a massive 32.5 implied total, I think Diggs is the best bet to lead the slate in receiving yards. Rushing Leader Best Bet: Tony Pollard (+500)I considered favorites Saquon Barkley (+340) and Dalvin Cook (+390), but Pollard has a lot going for him Thursday.11 days ago BettingPros
In my Week 12 article, I was wrong about the Giants and Cowboys game. I suggested taking the Giants at +7, and now they’re sitting at +10 after losing to the Lions. Anyway, here are my thoughts for Week 13 in the NFL. Bet: Titans +6.5 (-115)Cleveland Browns vs. Houston TexansIt pains me to say this, but Deshaun Watson will likely start for the Browns in Week 13 against the Texans. No matter what Houston does this week against the Dolphins, it’ll not affect the line this week.12 days ago BettingPros
College football analysts Thor Nystrom and Scott Bogman provide their top odds, picks, and predictions for the weekend. Best College Football Week 11 Bets: Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)Navy vs. Notre DameIn a letdown spot off a huge win over Clemson, Notre Dame is about to play a team it doesn’t match up well with. Navy can pick on Notre Dame’s defensive weakness, and the Midshipmen’s good run defense should slow down Notre Dame’s bully-ball routine. On the field, Ole Miss’ awesome run game will tee off on underachieving Bama front seven. UNC also grades poorly according to PFF – lower than 100 in total defense, run defense and coverage.23 days ago BettingPros
This season at BettingPros, we’re asking some of our experts to give leans and top picks for every game on the NFL slate. Here are all of their leans, picks, best bets and predictions for Week 8. Still, the Jaguars are averaging 22 points per game, while Denver is averaging just 14. The Browns rank 28th in points allowed per game (26.6), and it would be hard to imagine them keeping up with the Bengals’ offense this week. Denver’s defense has been elite, however, allowing the fewest yards and points per possession in the NFL.1 month ago BettingPros
